Yum Install From Specific Repo

There are times when you don't want to look to the internet for packages. Especially if you're housing your own local repo for package/version consistency.

But there are also times when users require access to specific repos that have newer version of software than you're willing to install.

An easy way to quickly install from local repos instead of looking to the internet is the following

# Disable all repos, then only enable your local repo and install packages
yum --disablerepo="*" --enablerepo="rhel-disc" install sysfsutils

After you're done you can enable all the repos again

yum --enablerepo="*"
